How to plan a budget Caribbean Wedding on

St. Lucia

Recommended hotels for budget Caribbean Weddings in St. Lucia

 Anse Chastanet - Soufriere

What were Caribbean hotels like before trade winds were replaced by blasts of air conditioning, when mornng exercise was a walk on the beach and not hot water aerobics, and when you sat watching the sunset instead of cable TV? You can still find out at Anse Chastanet Resort on St Lucia’s unspoiled southwestern Caribbean coast.

Hillside units designed in harmony with nature, complement the island’s natural beauty which has remained his focal point. 6OO-acre site is a lush garden of tropical foliage bordering one of the island’s best beaches where soft silver sands dip into the clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean.

 Ladera - Soufriere

Condé Nast Traveler readers have voted Ladera not only the "Best Hotel in the Caribbean," but they also gave it the highest score of any hotel in the world, ranking it the "Best of the Best" in the overall hotel category.

Ladera takes full advantage of its natural surroundings, offering a unique design in guest accommodations. Villas and suites have an "open wall"—inviting one of the world’s most breathtaking views into your suite.

Nonetheless, each suite at Ladera offers complete privacy and safety. Every accommodation features its own plunge pool or villa swimming pool, for a private, refreshing dip just outside your room.

 Mago Estate Hotel - Soufriere

"Mago" is the local St. Lucian word for "Mango" and the hotel sits among the Mango trees at the edge of the rain forest above the town of Soufriere.

Mago has one of the best views of the Pitons from every room - but the open design of many rooms means that noise can be an issue for the eco-rooms and suites when the breeze blows up from town. Especially on weekends when there is a 'party' on the beach with music late into the night... Great if you want to party in your room, but not the peace and quiet you might expect from an eco-resort.

However, the 'eco-value' rooms can be a great value & the views are great!
